FY27-ENGCP-002-2 G.W Oliver Road Bridge Construction Project

Description

The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids from GDOT Prequalified Contractors for this project: FY27-ENGCP-002-2 GW Oliver Bridge Construction Project. The project consists of demolition and removal of existing damaged roadway and drainage structures, construction of a new bridge structure, roadway construction items including embankment construction, slope repair, construction of new approach slabs, subgrade construction, graded aggregate base construction, asphalt pavement construction, signing and marking, new guardrail installation, erosion and sediment control, water quality monitoring, and permanent grassing and stabilization. The project is located along GW Oliver Road approximately 1.0 mile north of the intersection of Sinkhole Road at Georgia Highway 46 and approximately 700 feet east of the intersection of GW Oliver Road at Sinkhole Road near coordinates Latitude 32.348504, Longitude -81.806075. A bid package may be requested by emailing the Bulloch County Procurement Office, at Procurementeng@bullochcounty.net, going to the Bulloch County website: https://bullochcounty.net/bid-opportunities/ or by going to the Georgia Procurement Registry website: https://doas.ga.gov/state-purchasing/georgia-procurement-registry-local-governments/gpr-overview. All contractors seeking to provide construction delivery services to Bulloch County for this project shall submit evidence of current active approval as a GDOT Prequalified Contractor in Work Class 500 Concrete Structures as of the bid submission deadline July 17, 2026, 11:00 AM EDT, and as it appears in GDOT¿s Directory of Prequalified Contractors webpage. Bidders are responsible for the actual delivery of sealed bids during normal business hours to the Bulloch County Procurement Office.
