Pre-Advertisement Notice for Chattahoochee Brick Company (CBC) Environmental Remediation

Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of City Planning, will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Competitive Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase followed by an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for environmental remediation activities at the Chattahoochee Brick Company (CBC) site. The project consists of the excavation, transportation, and disposal of contaminated soils, site restoration, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, environmental monitoring, traffic control, utility coordination, community protection measures, and all associated activities necessary to complete the remediation in accordance with City of Atlanta specifications, Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) requirements, EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant requirements, and the approved remedial design documents. During the prequalification phase, interested vendors should be prepared to demonstrate their technical expertise, organizational capacity, relevant experience performing environmental remediation projects of similar size and complexity, project approach, and ability to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. The City's expectation is to identify qualified vendors capable of safely and efficiently delivering the project on schedule while providing effective project management, maintaining compliance with all environmental and grant requirements, and minimizing impacts to the surrounding community. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide additional project information and answer questions from prospective vendors. We hope to see you there.
