Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Capacity of Ministry of Health for Population Based Cancer Screening for Disadvantaged Groups

Description

The main objective is to strengthen institutional capacity of Ministry of Health on cancer screening and registration by upgrading and accrediting the cancer registration centres (CRCs) and improving the capacity of both the CRCs and mobile cancer screening. The contractor will provide technical assistance to the Ministry covering services such as: improving the data quality to fulfil the requirements for inclusion of the data of two CRCs in the National Cancer Screening Report; prepare survival analysis study; data quality trainings, workshops, cost efficiency analysis and study visits; trainings for Essential Tumor-Node-Metastasis (eTNM); trainings for public awareness on cancer screening; international symposium to develop cancer control policy and actions; publicity and visibility through broadcast on national TV and social media; deliver mobile cancer screening services with minimum total number of 450.000 screenings by at least 5 tailored mobile cancer screening trailers across Türkiye for about 27 target provinces with low mobile scanning capacity.
