The New Plymouth District Council (NPDC) is seeking information from experienced providers to inform the development of a feasibility study for a potential second crossing of the Waiwhakaiho River and associated transport interventions to support growth in the Smart Road Future Urban Zone and the wider SH3 corridor. This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to support early engagement with the market and to test assumptions, approaches, and delivery considerations ahead of developing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not a competitive tender and will not result in the award of a contract. We invite potential suppliers to respond to this RFI by sharing their insights, experience, and professional feedback. Your responses will help NPDC better understand how this feasibility study could be scoped, resourced, and delivered, and what information and analysis will be required to support robust decision‑making.
