Introduction The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam seeks for Firm to Survey, Design, and Preparation of Technical-Economic Report for the Nature-based Solution (NbS) for Denuded Hillside Stabilisation . The objective of this assignment is to develop a technically sound and context-appropriate NbS for hillside stabilization at Nam Lau Kindergarten and Secondary School site. Specifically, the assignment aims to: - Conduct detailed topographic and geotechnical surveys to assess current slope stability conditions and risks of landslides and erosion; - Design a pilot NbS for hillside stabilization based on Japan’s Chisan approach, tailored to local terrain, environmental, and land use conditions; - Prepare a comprehensive technical-economic report aligned with Vietnamese laws and regulations, including relevant standards on construction, environmental protection, and disaster risk reduction; - Provide a solid technical basis for local authorities to review, approve, and implement the intervention.
