Procurement of 90 New Apple iPad Pro Tablets

Description

The GLPA has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) to solicit and receive formal offers from prospective Bidders (defined below) for the supply of 90 Apple iPad Pro Tablets to be used in conjunction with Portable Pilot Units. The GLPA recognizes that the use of electronic navigation equipment onboard maritime vessels continues to be a valuable aid to a marine pilot and a valuable tool to improve vessel navigation safety. The purpose of this RFP process is to select a vendor to supply, on a leasing arrangement, the iPad devices and AppleCare warranties for 90 devices. The Preferred Bidder (defined below) will enter into an agreement with the GLPA for a 4-year term. The requirements and specifications for the iPads are outlined in Schedule A (Specifications).
