The facility will service the northern zones of the district by providing temporary accommodation for up to 14-16 dogs and acting as an overflow to the centralised dog pound in Ngāruawāhia and a more localised option for those in the Northern areas of the district. We are seeking a main contractor who: -can deliver a fit-for-purpose, durable facility in accordance with the approved detailed design, resource consent and building consent within 6 months of contract start. -can coordinate effectively with Council-nominated contractors, including PipeScape Ltd for WaterCare-approved wastewater works, and with utility/service providers supporting the wider North Waikato Resource Recovery Centre (NWRRC) enabling works -can effectively manage their subcontractors to produce quality work. -offer high-quality, practical and where possible sustainable construction solutions -can partner with Waikato District Council to provide positive economic outcomes for the community.
