The COMFRC Aviation Support Equipment, Solomons, MD has a requirement to inspect, abrasive blast (as needed), and flame spray coating of E-2 Sling Beam P/N 123SME50645-1. FLAME SPRAY, INC. is the only known qualified source capable of satisfying the Government's specific requirements and mission for this procurement due to large dimensions of the E-2 Sling Beam. For this reason, the government intends to procure these products on a sole source basis from FLAME SPRAY, INC. (CAGE Code: 7M171). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.
