Pallet Racking System for Fabric Storage Shelter The Department of National Defence (DND) is expanding its material handling and storage capacity at CFB Esquimalt. A new fabric shelter has been built at CFB Esquimalt’s Colwood Main Warehouse site. The shelter measures 120’ long by 60’ wide and is installed on a 140’ by 80’ concrete slab. A High-capacity Pallet Racking System must be installed in the fabric storage shelter for it to commence operations. This pallet racking will need to safely optimize the floor and vertical space of the Shelter. This project aims to provide a durable, modular Pallet Racking System capable of supporting palletized goods, the system must support a mix of medium and heavy-duty storage applications while maximizing floor space and accessibility.
