Procurement of Consultancy services for Africa CDC

Description

Through this procurement, the Public Health Agency of Sweden (PHAS) will purchase consultancy services that will provide technical assistance to Africa Center for Disease Control (Africa CDC), Division of Public Health Institutes and Research at Africa CDC Headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Two consultants are needed to support the implementation of a regional collaborative programme aiming at supporting and strengthening national public health institutes (NPHIs) in Africa, and more specifically, the cross-border collaboration and sharing of knowledge and experience of working with core functions of NPHIs in Africa. A Senior Technical Officer who will be responsible for planning and leading activities to develop the core capacities of NPHIs. The work is to be carried out in close collaboration with PHAS. 1. A Technical Officer who will be responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of activities to develop the core capacities of NPHIs. The work is to be carried out in close collaboration with the Senior Technical Officer and PHAS. 2. The Supplier shall be duly registered as a sole trader/sole proprietorship or other legal entity and shall have the legal capacity to enter into contracts and to issue invoices to PHAS.
