IWA Solar Farm

Description

This project involves the design, construction, and commissioning of a new Solar Photovoltaic Farm to supply 1MVA of renewable energy directly to Ireland West Airport. The initiative supports the airport’s sustainability goals by reducing reliance on grid electricity and lowering carbon emissions. The contract will be delivered under a Design and Build model, followed by a 24month Operation and Maintenance phase to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the system. The scope of works includes Full design and engineering of the solar PV system, Procurement and installation of solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical infrastructure, All necessary civil works, including access roads, foundations, cable trenches, and fencing, Integration with the airport’s existing electrical network, Testing, commissioning, and handover of a fully operational system.
