{"description":" The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action for the \nprocurement of the following services: \nRepair and maintenance of the following Atlas Copco Equipment as described below: \nGA 22 VSD Serial No. API891525 \nGA 22 VSD Serial No. API892146 \nBAP 71 Serial No. GJGW-010034 \nThe contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment \nrequired to perform comprehensive corrective and preventive maintenance on the identified \nequipment The primary objective is to return the Breathable Air Compressors (BAC) and \nBreathing Air Purifier (BAP) systems to full operational capability, ensuring it reliably produces \ncertified Grade E breathable air in accordance with all applicable safety standards and \nmanufacturer specifications. \nThe scope of work includes the following tasks: \n• Scheduled Maintenance: The contractor shall perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) \nactions as specified by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This includes, at a \nminimum, the replacement of all scheduled filtration media, lubrication, and inspection of \nall system components. \n• System Diagnostics and Repair: The contractor shall conduct a complete diagnostic \ninspection of the BAC system to identify the cause of an existing operational fault. It is \npresumed that this fault is a direct result of the PM. Upon government approval of the \ndiagnosis and repair plan, the contractor shall execute all necessary repairs to restore the \nsystem to its original performance specifications. \nAll services must be performed in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer \n(OEM) specifications by certified technicians. All parts should be genuine OEM parts. \nThis requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) “Soliciting from a \nsingle source”. Atlas Copco is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the abovementioned \nequipment. The OEM has not identified any third-party authorized distributors or \nservicers of their equipment. This is a notice of intent to award a BRAND NAME, sole-source \nprocurement action under NAICS 333912 and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms \nwho want to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates \nyour firm’s ability to provide for this Brand Name Requirement. Interested parties must provide \nrationale as to why they should be considered.
