The overall purpose of this requirement is to procure linearity materials, which are not already provided through P&LMS Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) funding. Many testing systems within Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) require validation of the Analytical Measurement Range (AMR) for an analyte both initially and at least every six months thereafter.
