Deviating from one of these part numbers and purchasing desiccant material from an alternative source of supply will result in Government systems no longer being compliant with the specifications in the drawing. Obtaining the ability to add to the limited source of supply on the drawing would require Technical Design Agent review, Program Office approval, redesign & research of new desiccant, qualification testing, and change to the drawing.
