Procurement Title: Various Infrastructure Construction Works and Procurement of related goods.

The government of Malawi with funding from the World Bank under the Regional Climate Resilience Program (RCRP) Project through Mulanje District Council, has planned to carry out various construction works projects for 2025/26 financial year.

Therefore, Mulanje District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified Bidders, which will subsequently enter into Contract Agreement to carry out various infrastructure construction works and procurement of related goods as follows:

Bidders are free to bid for all but can only be awarded one.

Bidding will be conducted through Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedures as contained in the World Bank Procurement Regulations (Sept 2025) and Procedures.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the address below, attention the Chief Procurement Officer at the address 8(1) given below from 8:00am to 12:00 noon and from 1:00 pm to 4:30pm in the afternoon (Monday to Friday, except public holidays) up to 14th July, 2026.

A complete set of Electronic Bidding Documents (Bid document, BOQ, Drawings) in English language may be purchased by interested bidders and obtained from the address indicated at 8 (1) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty thousand Malawi kwacha (MK20,000.00) per bid or its equivalent in freely convertible currency at the Accounts Department. The method of payment is by cash or Bank certified cheques

Completed bid documents should be submitted in three hard copies (one marked original copy and two copies) in addition a priced BOQ in a flash disk. Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box located at Mulanje District Council Office Building in the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) Office on 16th July, 2026 or before, at 10:00 hours (10:00am). Submission of Electronic Tender Document is not acceptable. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened on 16th July, 2026 at 10:00 hours local time at Mulanje District Council, GIZ Buildings opposite PDU, Mulanje, Malawi.
