Approximately 300,000 cubic yards of stockpiled dredge material will be transferred via mechanical and/or hydraulic excavation methods. Corps Island is located in Upper Mississippi River Pool 3 at River Mile 799.2 near Diamond Bluff, WI. The island is without road access, and has historically been used as a placement site for material dredged from the main channel of the Mississippi River. \n\n The estimated magnitude of construction for this contract (including options) is between $5 million and $10 million. \n\n The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990. \n\n This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. \n\n Bidders are encouraged to pay close attention to Section 01 11 00, Part 1, Paragraph 1.1.1, Project Description, in the Project Specifications. The winning bidder is responsible for providing disposal capacity for the project, using a readily available commercial site (e.g. gravel/sand pit) and/or beneficial use sites. \n\n All bidders must be fully registered and have completed online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to the bid opening. Bidders that have not registered or completed their online representations and certifications may be rejected.
