NCA is responsible for providing cemetery services to Veterans and other eligible persons pursuant to the provisions of the National Cemeteries Act of 1973 and other statutory authority and regulations (38 U.S.C. 2306, 38 U.S.C. Chapter 24, 38 CFR Parts 38-39). NCA’s responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of 156 national cemeteries and the construction of new national cemeteries. \n\n The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is contracting this 33.6-acre cemetery expansion project to increase the burial capacity of Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (JBNC) to serve veterans in the St. Louis area.
