The project involves replacing an ageing pedestrian structure with a new, safe, and accessible shared use path clip-on alongside the Ava Rail Bridge — a key link in Lower Hutt’s active transport network. The successful Respondent will work collaboratively with HCC, the appointed design consultant, and Quantity Surveyor (QS) during the ECI phase to provide input on construction methodology, staging, buildability, risk management, and cost validation.
