SH1 Cambridge to Piarere Expressway RONS - Offline Section - D&C Contract (ROI)

Description

This Registration of Interest (ROI) invites qualified and experienced suppliers to apply to be shortlisted for the Request for Tender (RFT). The Cambridge to Piarere contract is a 16km long extension of the Waikato expressway from Cambridge southwards to Piarere, where it intersects with State Highway 29 connecting the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. The new expressway will improve journeys by reducing congestion, improving safety, improving travel time reliability and boosting the region’s economic growth. It will provide a more resilient roading network for this critical corridor. The tender will be for the design and construction of the 9.2km “Offline” section from the Online corridor interface (Contract No. 12816), approximately 1 km east of the Karāpiro Interchange, through to the recently completed SH1/29 intersection. Please carefully read through the ROI requirements and seek clarification if needed. Final tendering of the contract will be by invitation to contractors shortlisted through this ROI process.
