This Contract is for the Construction of a Gravity Sewer Main and Water Supply Main within the road reserve of Percival Street in Rangiora. This Contract requires the contractor to be prequalified to a minimum of Tier A of Category 3: Gravity Systems and Tier C of Category 4: Pressure Systems. This is a Measure and Value contract. The main tasks involved in this Contract are: - Installation of 93m of new 150mm nominal diameter PVC-U gravity sewer main with invert depth from 1.5 to 2.2m - Installation of 358m of new 225mm nominal diameter PVC-U gravity sewer main with invert depth from 1.7 to 2.2m - Installation of 56m of new 100mm nominal diameter sewer lateral - Break into and re-bench existing manholes - Installation of 504m of new 63mm OD PE80 PN12.5 water main in the road - Installation of 24m of new 63mm OD PE80 PN12.5 water main in the berm / footpath - Supply and install details A – F as shown in Drawings 4603 - Locate, upgrade and transfer service connections as required - Cap and abandon pipework - Coordinate required shut down and livening of new mains. - Test, remedy and commission the works under the contract. - Provide As-built documentation.
