Description
An Advanced Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier. The Canadian Space Agency requires a subscription-based service that would provide them access to a currently existing and available eLearning modules tailored for the procurement of professional services in a federal government context. The service would also provide access to a network of Canadian public sector procurement professionals, along with on-demand federal government-related procurement samples, templates, and best practices, specifically tailored for the procurement of services. In addition, through these subscriptions, the organization is seeking client-focused procurement advisory services tailored for the Canadian Federal Government to deepen our knowledge and strengthen our capabilities in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness within our departmental procurement practices. Advanced training, and knowledge transfer, are essential to help the CSA develop in-house procurement capability. Any interested supplier must demonstrate by way of a submitting Statement of Capabilities that it meets all the requirements stated in the Advanced Contract Award Notice document before this solicitation of capabilities ends.
