{"description":"\nINTRODUCTION\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract for the design-bid-build minor construction project #675-106, Expand Radiology & Oncology Minor Construction at the Orlando VA Medical Center located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827.\nPROJECT DESCRIPTION\nContractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for 675-106 Expand Radiology and Oncology at the Orlando VA Medical Center as required by drawings and specifications.\nWork includes general construction and alterations required for civil, structural, fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, electrical work and certain other items as described in the specifications and drawings.\nADMINISTRATIVE\nThe solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR part 15 and will be evaluated in accordance with the tradeoff procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid to late-February 2026. The period of performance is approximately 450 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
