{"description":" The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with Pacific Biosciences in Menlo Park, California, on a basis of other than full and open competition . This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements. \n\n This requirement is for a base year contract with 2 options years, with pricing across all years. The vendor shall provide for a Vega service contract that includes preventative maintenance/ repair service support plan for Pacific Bioservices Vega equipment (Serial Number: VG21072). The support plan shall include: \n\n \n\t Full coverage for OEM parts and labor/travel for OEM certified and authorized service technicians. \n\t No-cost replacement of proprietary reagents lost upon hardware failure and troubleshooting. \n\t One on-site preventative maintenance (PM) visit done IAW OEM standards/requirements by OEM certified and authorized service technician(s). \n\t Remote technical support from OEM certified and authorized service technician(s). This support must be available for a minimum of 0700 – 1700 (PST), Monday – Friday. \n\t On-site response by OEM certified and authorized service technician(s) within 3-5 business days of an issue with the hardware’s performance. \n\t Control software and hardware updates IAW OEM standards/requirements. \n\t On-site applications support and remote monitoring. \n \n\n The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
