This procurement is considered to be single-sourced to Airbus Helicopters Inc. based on the following: In accordance with the Flight Standards training requirements established by FAA policy and AFB-500, all training for FAA Inspectors/Pilots must be obtained within an approved training program, approved and monitored under the 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) (Federal Aviation Regulations), Part 121, 135, 141, or 142 as appropriate. Airbus Helicopters Inc. is the only company certified with the Part 142 certificate and is the lone provider of the H-160/H-160B Helicopter Pilot Training program available that is approved by the FAA. \n\n This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal.
