{"description":" NAICS: 326199 \n\n PSC: 8145 \n\n The purpose of this notice is to inform interested parties that Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue on a limited competition between the OEM Advanced Packaging, Inc. (API) (CAGE: 61528) and authorized distributors on the basis of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with API for the procurement of API transit storage cases with foam in support of the Radio Integration System (RIS) Family of Systems. It’s anticipated that this will be a limited competition. \n\n Only the API brand name transit support cases with foam can meet the unique combination of requirements for this procurement. The API transit storage cases with foam are capable of protectively storing all equipment needed to operate the RIS systems. They are also designed with grooves for secure, non-slip stacking with other API transit cases and with accompanying API radio cases, thus allowing for secure transport, storage, and reduction of the overall system footprint. Additionally, the API transit storage cases with foam have successfully passed environmental testing. These API transit storage cases with foam were procured previously for the RIS program and are currently integrated in the RIS platforms. No other transit storage cases with foam can meet this unique combination of requirements. \n\n THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Responses by phone or fax will not be accepted.
