It is proposed to decommission the centralised heating and provide the teaching spaces with either gas fired space heaters or heat pumps depending on the capacity of the associated infrastructure. The project will incorporate the removal of the existing boilers and ducting and also the provision of metal protective cages to the heat pump outdoor units.
