The intent to sole source is due to the requirement to be urgent and compelling. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base year. The total estimated value is less than $5,000.00. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-2 for the aforementioned requirement and FAR 5.003 and FAR 13.105. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
