{"description":" Title: \nDEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap – Term Contract (National Capital Region) \n\n Notice Type: \nSolicitation \n\n Solicitation Number: \n2-1-QSC-T-26-059 \n\n Agency / Office: \nGeneral Services Administration (GSA) \nFederal Acquisition Service (FAS) \nPersonal Property Management IV \n\n Description \n\n The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the sale of DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap generated by multiple Federal agencies located throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), including the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. \n\n This solicitation establishes a term sales contract under which the successful bidder (Buyer) shall purchase scrap material and perform removal as a condition of sale . \n\n Scrap material includes, but is not limited to: \n\n \n\t Steel \n\t Aluminum \n\t Copper / Brass \n\t Wire \n\t Other ferrous and non-ferrous metals \n \n\n Electronic waste (E-waste), ADP equipment, and data-bearing devices are excluded from this contract. \n\n All property is sold strictly for recycling as material content only in accordance with 41 CFR 102-38. Resale as usable property is prohibited. \n\n Contract Structure \n\n Base Period: One (1) Year \nOption Periods: Two (2) One-Year Options \nMaximum Contract Term: Three (3) Years \nExtension: Up to six (6) months at Government discretion \n\n Pricing Structure \n\n This is a removal-based sales contract. \n\n Bidders shall submit firm-fixed unit prices for defined removal event types.
