An estimated 300 participants including Veterans will be participating. The Office of National Veterans Sports Programs and Special Events (NVSPSE) provide adaptive sports medicine and therapeutic arts for Veterans to improve their independence, health, well-being, and quality of life in accordance with 38 U.S.C. && 322 and 521.\n\n\nBackground:\n\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs requires structured, professionally managed adaptive sports and wellness services to support rehabilitation, physical activity, and community reintegration of Veterans participating in the NVSSC. These are the necessary services: \nEnsure continuity of scheduled adaptive sports programming\nProvide structural physical activity and wellness instruction\nSupport safe storage and management of adaptive equipment\nProvide program materials necessary for participant engagement\nMaintain scheduled program delivery that directly impacts veteran services\nAdaptive fitness instruction\nYoga and meditation instruction\nRopes course instruction and facilitation\nDesign and printing of program materials\nProvision of storage containers, moving of containers, and storage support facility\nRelated logistical and program support services necessary to conduct adaptive sports programming\n\n\n\nSubmittal Information:\nAs stated above, this is an Intent to Sole Source.
