These assets have had multiple repairs and are at end life. The renewal works will replace deteriorated asbestos cement pipes with modern, compliant materials to improve network resilience, reducing service interruptions and aligning with Wellington Water’s strategic goals for safe, reliable and sustainable water infrastructure. This procurement supports the FY25/26 Capital Delivery programme and contributes to broader outcomes of community wellbeing and environmental goals and we require the contract to commence by 10 November 2025. The works will be delivered under NZS 3910:2013 conditions of contract.
