The main purpose of this work is to provide a weathertight solution and a healthier workspace for staff, alongside internal remediation work required within the cells and exercise yard area to make this operational again. Scope of project The scope of Works for the Main Contractor will include the following construction activities: IN SCOPE: • Installation of a re-pitched, over roof solution on the custody block as per the architectural drawings and specifications • Installation of a ducted mechanical solution to provide air, heating and cooling • Make good works to the exercise yard • As built updated with all warrantees and Guarantees handed over to Police for asset management • On-going maintenance for the Defects Liability Period OUT OF SCOPE Construction works to the main station building • Loose furniture, fixtures and equipment • Costs associated with decanting site • Works to any buildings on the site outside of the custody block • Mould testing and decontamination Documentation can be obtained via email from: tenders.national@police.govt.nz
