Should we assume that emergency repairs will not need to be completed during the emergency visit but will need to be quoted and repaired at a later date? \n\nAnswer #3\n\nThe Northport VA Medical Center may request emergency repair(s) and/or services as needed and require prior approval from the Contracting Officer. \n\nQuestion #4 The Scope Of Services on page 12 of 59 states The contractor will keep sufficient types and quantities of materials and stock on hand to ensure practical, economical and continuous service. This includes an inventory of spare and repair parts and equipment. Is the contractor required to have the inventory of spare parts and equipment on site Day 1? If so, please provide a list of the required spare parts and equipment so they can be priced and included in our proposal\n\nAnswer #4\n\nThe contractor should keep the common, routine materials and parts for your trade in stock and available, i.e. basic tools and accessories that are routinely needed to perform the trade.  The overall intent is to ensure the contractor can perform work without delays caused by waiting for standard tools or commonly used materials.\nThe Northport VA Medical Center does not provide onsite storage facilities.\n\nQuestion #5  Section F Annual Inspection(s) Tank Evaluations (page 8 of 59) requires an annual inspection of the two (2) water storage facilities. Please provide the size of the storage facilities and location (i.e. are these the two clear wells that are outside of the water treatment facilities and location (i.e. are these the two clear wells that are outside of the water treatment facility)? \n\nAnswer #5\n\nTank evaluations are for the clear well and the elevated water storage tank. The 25,000-gallon clear well tank is the located at the water treatment plant building 220 as pictured in attachment G. Please see attachment E for the location of the 300,000-gallon elevated water storage tank.\n\n\nQuestion #6 Is there a site visit?\nAnswer #6 \nThe attachments were provided in lieu of a site visit to enhance competition. \n\n\n"}
