Introduction Country: Ukraine Description of the Assignment: National Expert on International Methods for Environmental Damage Assessment Services required : The main objective of this assignment is to support the development of a modernized and legally sound approach to environmental damage assessment in Ukraine through the study and interpretation of relevant international practices and legal frameworks. The assignment aims to provide analytical support for the alignment of national methodologies with effective global tools, taking into account Ukraine’s environmental challenges, institutional capacities, and legal obligations. The Consultant will assess the relevance, adaptability, and practical implementation of international approaches in the Ukrainian context and formulate proposals for methodological improvements. Duty Station: Home-based Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 4 months Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
