The project encompasses all work associated with the repair and reinstatement of the existing stopbank as outlined in the drawings and specifications. Council is looking for an experienced contractor with a proven track record and qualified staff who have relevant experience and suitably skilled personnel. They will preferably be locally based and be able to demonstrate their familiarity with all compliance requirements. This project will enable West Coast Regional Council to strengthen and improve resilience in areas that are vulnerable to weather events; and keep West Coast communities safe and accessible. It is a great opportunity for a contractor to work with West Coast Regional Council to safeguard local and regional communities; and further build their solid track record in climate resilience projects. We intend to go to market on or around 03 September2025. The opportunity will be advertised on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS).
