Provision of Expansion and Refurbishment Services of an existing Warehouse at Kabul, UNOCA Compound

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) is seeking for potential vendors to express interest for its requirement for the Provision of Expansion and Refurbishment Services of an existing Warehouse at the UNAMA UNOCA Compound, in Kabul, Afghanistan. UNAMA intends to establish a contract for the Provision of Expansion and Refurbishment Services of an existing Warehouse at the UNOCA Compound. Current warehouse measures appx. 1307 Sqm on Ground Floor and 628 Sqm on Mezzanine Floor. The expanded warehouse will measure 1826 Sqm on Ground floor and 1709 Sqm on Mezzanine Floor. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest. It does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. Details for the requirement will be provided in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors only. Specific Requirements/Information Minimum Eligibility Requirements: i. Vendor minimum experience in structural steel building construction field of minimum 7 years. Vendors are required to provide supporting documents e.g. valid certificate of incorporation, client’s reference letters, contract documents and any other experience related documents. ii. Successful completion of 2 similar building construction/expansion/refurbishment project of minimum value of 1(One) Project of minimum value of US$1,000,000 & 2nd Project of minimum value of $500,000. Vendor are required to provide supporting documents e.g. Client refernce letter for successful completion and related contract documents iii. United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM) registration is mandatory. Company should be registered in UNGM. Level 2 registration is preferred. If not registered, you can register using the link ttps://www.ungm.org.Please provide proof of UNGM registration by providing the company UNGM number. EOI responses that are not accompanied by undisputable evidence in form of supporting documents as requeted above will not be considered for invitation to participate in the bidding exercise.
