Council has a range of coastal assets and structures in coastal areas across the District that require inspection and maintenance on a regular basis to ensure they are structurally sound and fit for purpose. This contract is to provide these services for the benefit of the community. Depending on the structure, material and design of the assets, there will be a requirement for inspections between 3, 6, and 12 months. This detail will be included in the specifications. Delivery of the services: • Scheduled inspections of assets, complete minor maintenance as required and reporting of all required and completed maintenance. • Programmed Maintenance of assets including: o Boat ramps o Wharves o Jetties o Pontoons o Stairs o Sea walls o Groynes • Response maintenance once approved by the WDC Technical Officer. • Customer liaison A full list of assets will be available at the RFP stage.
