Piping insulation servicing the filling station is compromised causing losses greatly reducing efficiency and increasing operational cost. Icing extending to walking surfaces creates a safety hazard. Icing caused by the failed insulation is freezing up the emergency shut-off control valves as well. The existing system similar to PermAlert Ultra-FS in comprised of two 7/8” copper pipes in steel containment insulated with poly-urethane foam and sealed to prevent corrosion. The work required includes provision and installation of approximately 170 linear feet of insulated cryogenic piping in kind with existing. \n\n (ii) The proposed contract action shall consist of a comparative evaluation of quotations to award a firm fixed price contract with an anticipated award date of March 30, 2026.
