Required Function:\nProvide rental of a generator that complies with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.\nB. Required Performance:\nRichmond VA Medical Center requires a temporary trailer-mounted generator (1500kW/1.5MW) to meet NFPA startup standards until a permanent solution is implemented.\nC. Essential Physical Characteristics:\nThe rental generator must meet the following specifications:\nPower Output: 1500 KW\nRating: 1750 KVA\nOnboard Fuel: 0 gallons\nVoltage: 480/277V, 3 phase\nFrequency: 60 Hz\nFuel Capacity: 5,200 gallons\nTrailer-mounted unit\nBuilt-in fuel tank\nStart-up assist feature\nAbility to connect to existing critical power switchgear\nAll copper wiring\nCompatible with current switchgear connection methods\nControlled by the existing generator control system\nInclude electrical drawings\nProvided with galvanized rigid steel (GRS) conduit\n\n\n\nQualifications of Offerors:\nMust be established in the required field, and provide appropriate licensing\nMust be financially responsible and able to demonstrate reliability, experience, equipment, facilities, and personnel necessary to provide satisfactory service\n\nRespondents are requested to provide the following information:\n\nIndicate whether your business is a manufacturer or a reseller of a small business manufacturer\nSpecify your interest in submitting a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) quote or Open Market quote (include FSS contract number, if applicable)\nIdentify any affiliated companies (wholly or partially owned) that provide similar goods/services under related NAICS codes, including CVE certification type (SDVOSB/VOSB), Federal Identification Number, and state of incorporation\nConfirm active SAM registration and provide your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI)\nProvide a current capabilities statement\nFailure to supply this information may result in your company being considered incapable of fulfilling the VA s requirements.\n\nAdditional Information: \nThis notice is for market research purposes only to inform the Government s acquisition strategy. No questions regarding this notice will be entertained. The VA will not cover any costs associated with preparing responses to this market research.\nThe capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research, and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research.
