Health New Zealand (Health NZ) is seeking proposals for securing early access to a pandemic influenza vaccine to ensure the rapid, effective deployment of vaccines in the event of a public health emergency of international concern (PHIC) - as declared by the World Health Organisation (WHO). In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is vital to strengthen New Zealand's pandemic preparedness. We are particularly interested in solutions that provide access to a vaccine ahead of widespread availability, such as advance purchase agreements (APAs), pre-order options, or other mechanisms that guarantee timely access.
