PSC002428: Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Operator for Work Based Childcare Centre for ANSTO in Lucas Heights

ANSTO aims to attract, develop and retain excellent staff to achieve its organisational goals. In seeking to achieve such success, ANSTO has noted the significant impact of family changes and associated needs on the interests, availability and readiness of people to be and remain a part of an excellent team.ANSTO has an existing purpose-built Childcare Centre which has been in operation since 2013.ANSTO Childcare Centre is a Work based 52 placed facility providing priority to childcare spaces for ANSTO’s employees consistent with its goal to provide family friendly work practices. The facility is also available to community based on availability and the access guidelines policies, noting that ANSTO employee’s current take-up 95% of the available positions.This EOI is for selection of a suitable service provider. Thesuccessful providerswillhavetodemonstrateastrongtrackrecordandextensiveexperienceofprovidingearly educationandchildcareprovision, including work-based centres.Theywillbeexpectedtodemonstratehowtheycanimproveoutcomesforchildrenandensuretheycanmeettheearlyyearsoutcomesduty.
