The works include installing new glass sliding doors to create a link between the classrooms, as well as removing existing tiered seating, wing walls, doors, and windows to accommodate new double doors. Block 9 will be fully demolished—including roof, walls, and foundations—and the area where block 9 used to be, to be leveled and a new concrete mowing strip to be installed. The former Block 9 area will be repurposed into a covered bag storage space. Openings will be created for new windows, while existing door openings will be infilled, reclad externally, and relined internally.
