{"description":" This notice is seeking interested parties witht the capability to procure, install and provide services for the period of two years for a pool water softener system. The water softener system must be equal to or better than the attached specification sheet. \n\n SCOPE \n1 Provide as indicated a vertical pressure type water softener system complete with pressure vessel, softening \nresin, control valve, brine maker and electronic controller. The system will be of an approved design as \nfabricated by a manufacturer regularly engaged in the production of water treatment equipment. All equipment \nand material will be supplied in compliance with the specifications as intended for a complete and operational \nsystem. \n2 Qualified manufacturers of water softener equipment must be engaged in the manufacture of this type of \nequipment for a period of not less than fifty (50) years. Acceptable manufacturers are Culligan International \nCompany or the Engineer’s approved equal. \n3 Qualified manufacturers will have the entire softener certified as a system to NSF/ANSI 61, NSF/ANSI 372, \nCSA 483.1, UL/CUL and CE. \n\n FIELD SERVICE \nThe services of a factory authorized service representative will be made available to maintain, inspect and \nprovide regular interval service training as required for system operation. \n\n \n\n Questions: \n\n \n\t Resin tank Size. - 21” x 62” \n\t Control valve piping size. – Max 2” \n\t Minimum flow rate / Continuous flow rate. - 65gpm @15-gpm \n\t Maximum Flow rate. - Peak flow Rate is 85-gpm \n\t Spacing size (footprint for installation of the water softener). - 2.4ft-sqd per tank \n\t Spacing size for Brine Tank. 36x56 \n\t Operating pressure. 35-125psi \n \n"}
