BKP 221.1 Timber-Aluminium Windows | Vertical Extension of the TBS5 Gymnasiums, Weinfelden

Description

Subject of the Contract: As part of the project, the existing gymnasium will be extended by adding two additional floors for use as a secondary school. The extension will be constructed using timber element construction. The new/extended staircases will be built as double-shell structures in exposed concrete. The two-story extension will include 12 classrooms (one of which will be equipped as a learning space), 7 group rooms, and two staff rooms with a terrace. At the heart of the school, a single-story atrium (open to the outside climate) is designed. Special Conditions: The renovation will take place predominantly during ongoing operations. A complete closure of the gymnasium is only planned for the duration of the timber construction work for the extension
