All work is to be performed at the Canandaigua, NY VA Medical Center. \n\nGeneral scope of work includes:\n\nThe purpose of this effort is for the existing flooring in Building 6 that contains asbestos and requires comprehensive removal. Additionally, the project will involve demolition of partition walls, bathroom fixtures, CMU walls, and heating systems. All equipment will be moved by VA prior to work starting. VA will contract a third-party to provide air monitoring once abatement plan is received and accepted. Also, a brief overview of the construction work will be included with SOW.\nIt has been determined that there are enough qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Own Small Business (SDVOSB) firms that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 562910 Remediation Services with a size standard of $25.0. Therefore, this procurement is 100% set-aside for SDVOSB. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released. It is anticipated that this contract will be awarded o/a February 2026. \nOBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL \nSolicitation materials consisting of the information for bid details, specifications, drawings, and contract forms will be available on http://www.sam.gov in electronic format only.
