This is a RFI/sources sought only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 339112 (size standard of 1000 Employees). Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. \n\nThe Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 15 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide the following,:\nThe Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (Dole VA) requires new surgical video equipment to replace the current video system. All items shall be new, unused, and all equipment and accessories, software, installation, training, and project management support shall be provided by the vendor.\nLooking for name brand or equal to Vendor shall coordinate all training dates with POC (or designee) who will communicate internally with appropriate VA staff.\nCLIN 046- Technical Off-Site Training Class, if offered\nQuantity: 1 JB\nSpecification/Salient Characteristics:\nOff-site training class for at least 1 biomed technician.\nTechnical training must provide at least 1 biomed technician with the skills and knowledge to fully operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the system by OEM standards.\nAny certifications required or offered to service equipment will be provided.\nVendor shall provide off-site training within 6 months of the conclusion of manufacturer s warranties of the equipment to ensure seamless transition of equipment maintenance. Vendor shall coordinate training with POC (or designee) and designated biomed employee to be trained.\nIf applicable, Vendor shall include all travel, registration, and other associated costs to provide this training in their proposal.\n\nCLIN 047- Shipping and Delivery\nQuantity: 1 JB\nVendor shall deliver all equipment to:\n Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center\n ATTN: Healthcare Technology Management\n 5500 E. Kellogg\n Wichita, KS 67218\nCLIN 048- Assembly, Installation, and Testing\nQuantity: 1 JB\nVendor shall be responsible for:\nThe vendor shall conduct a meeting at least 3 business days prior to delivery date to plan and coordinate equipment arrival, assembly, testing, and deployment.\nVendor responsible for assembly and installation of systems. Install shall include unboxing, assembly, implementation, and testing of all purchased hardware, features, software, and interfaces to VA electronic systems in coordination with clinical staff, Healthcare Technology Management (formerly Biomedical Engineering) staff, OI&T staff, and others identified as needed.\nVendor shall provide all necessary accessories, cables, adapters, etc. to deliver a fully functional clinical device/system.\nVendor must test and verify all equipment, components, and accessories are fully operational and ready for use in accordance with manufacturer s recommendations.\nVendors must provide documentation of their verification. At a minimum, documentation must include equipment serial numbers, description of work completed, date completed, company name, and name and signature of the person who completed the work.\nCLIN 049- Warranty & Service\nQuantity: 60 months\nThe Vendor shall provide:\nMinimum of 1 year warranty\nInclude 60 months of service equivalent to the Procare plan\nAll manufacturers warranty with products upon acceptance by the VA Medical Center.\nWarranty The system, all accessories, and all software shall be covered under the manufacturer s warranty and shall include all parts and labor.\nThe warranty period shall not begin until after the Dole VA POC or designee has accepted the products delivery, installation, and functionality.\nA manufacturer s factory-trained Field Service Engineer shall perform installation and corrective and preventative maintenance during the warranty period.\nThe warranty shall include all manufacturers recommended Preventive Maintenance procedures for its duration.\nAll available software updates and security patches will be made available to the Dole VA during the warranty period.\nThe vendor shall provide documentation of all work completed (corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, software updates, etc.) within 3 business days of completion.\nAt a minimum, documentation must include equipment serial numbers, work completed, date completed, company name, and name and signature of the who completed the work.\nThe vendor shall provide a response to applications and technical calls within 8 hours.\nVendor shall ship replacement parts within 48 hours of identifying necessity by Dole VA Healthcare Technology Management (formerly Biomedical Engineering) staff.\nNETWORK SECURITY & CONNECTIVITY REQUIREMENTS\nOEM-supported operating system\nLatest DICOM print, store, commit, structured report (SR), and modality worklist\nWireless connectivity to VA network Compatible with 802.11b/g/n and FIPS 140-2 or FIPS 140-3 compliant\nTRM approved software\nRemote vendor access (i.e. an approved MOU ISA)\nERA\nEncrypted hard drive\nCompatible/interfaces with Federal Electronic Health Record\nCompatible/interfaces with the following-\nVAPACS-VISTA IMAGING/VISTA WORKLIST\nSoftware-VISTA IMAGING/VISTA WORKLIST\nOther equipment/system-STRYKER OR HUB INTEGRATION\nAdvanced Visualization system-STRYKER VISUALIZATION SYSTEM\nThe vendor shall ensure the security of all procured or developed systems and technologies,\nincluding their subcomponents (hereinafter referred to as \"Systems\"), throughout the life of this contract and any extension, warranty, or maintenance periods. This includes, but is not limited to workarounds, patches, hotfixes, upgrades, and any physical components (hereafter referred to as Security Fixes) which may be necessary to fix all security vulnerabilities published or known to the vendor anywhere in the Systems, including Operating Systems and firmware. The vendor shall ensure that Security Fixes shall not negatively impact the Systems.\n\n\n\nThe information identified above are intended to be descriptive, not restrictive, and to indicate the quality of the supplies/services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the supplies/services that fulfill the required specifications.\n\nIf you are interested and are capable of providing the sought-out supplies/services, please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below.
