ATM_2025_4753: COP31 Overlay Managing Contractor

Description

Australia is bidding to host the 31st UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP31) in late 2026 in partnership with the Pacific. The scale and complexity of COPs exceed any event the Australian Government has convened before. It is therefore essential that the government partners with specialist providers to ensure success.In the event of a successful bid, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water will require an experienced Overlay Managing Conractor (OMC) to provide project management and delivery services necessary to manage overlay and temporary infrastructure such as temporary structures, power and HVAC, fencing and other works essential for the proposed venue/s.The OMC scope will include four key components:1. Project design, planning and development2. Procurement, commercial and contract management3. Logistics and budget management, and4. Project delivery and management as Principal Contractor.
