Not only does must the contractor be certified by Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), but also hydraulics, and septic systems.\nThe MMU must remain in a constant state of readiness to enable rapid nationwide deployment. Any lapse in readiness or mechanical failure during transit could severely impact veteran patient care, including potential loss of life. Therefore, the awarded contractor must demonstrate the capability to perform all required tasks to ensure uninterrupted operational readiness.\nPeriod of performance will be base year plus four(4) Option Years.
