Appointed Actuary Services

Description

CMHC is seeking proposals for the provision of actuarial consulting services, including the services of an Appointed Actuary to perform the annual actuarial valuation of policy liabilities and Financial Condition Testing (FCT) for its mortgage loan insurance business, in compliance with OSFI requirements and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA) Standards of Practice. The objective of this RFP is to select one (1) proponent to perform the services as further described in Section A and B of the RFP Specifications (Appendix C). It is CMHC’s intention to enter into an agreement on a non-exclusive basis with the successful proponent. The term of the agreement resulting from this RFP is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to two (2) one-year term.
