The main purpose of this work is to provide the Base with an expanded and refreshed locker and ablutions area to increase overall capacity to meet the requirements of a programme to increase the number of constables in our communities. Scope of project The scope of works for the Main Contractor will include the following construction activities: In-scope Refurbishment of existing shower/locker area, specifically the work packages as below; • Temporary and enabling works required to support the ongoing operations of Police staff. • Demolition & alteration of existing fitout and structures. • New and altered building services to suit new locker, changing and bathroom facilities layout and includes sub-floor drainage, hot & cold-water supply and new mechanical system. • Fitout of locker room, changing spaces, and bathrooms. • Ensuring continuation of ongoing police operations. Out of scope • Supply and install of lockers. • Any scope not included in the tender drawings and specification. Documentation can be requested via tenders.national@police.govt.nz
