{"description":" PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE \n\n Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, has a requirement for fire extinguisher services aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, South Carolina. \n\n Requirement Description: \n\n 1. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform a twelve-year hydrostatic test, a six-year internal examination, and any required maintenance, repairs, testing, and recharging to seventy-six (76), 150-pound Amerex Wheeled Fire Extinguishers (Item: 13J013; Mfr Model: 674) \n\n 2. The Contractor shall provide all services on-site at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Off-site maintenance, shipping, or removal of equipment is not permitted . \n\n 3. The Contractor must perform services in accordance with the following references: \n\n \n\t National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 10 \n\t Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers \n\t Amerex Manual for 150-pound Wheeled Fire Extinguisher \n\t OSHA Regulation 1910.157 \n \n\n Contract & Acquisition Details: \n\n It is the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed-price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a contract for a three-month period of performance. The applicable NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance . The Small Business Size Standard is $12.5 million. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services). \n\n This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotes. The official solicitation ( M6700126Q0034 ) is expected to be posted on the Contracting Opportunities portal at www.sam.gov on or around 5 days after the date of this notice.
